Strangeness of perception

Hello my dear readers. This day, 18th of October, was born American psychologist Mamie Phipps Clark.

Mamie Phipps Clark

She was known and awarded for her reseach of afro-american’s children self-determination and their social self-identification.

Today I will tell you about my experience with own perception.

One day I took a taxi to come to my office which is not actually so far from my home. When we crossing downtown we trapped in a small jar and I had nothing to do except looking through the car window.

Suddenly, right across the road I’ve noticed a man who was staying near the tree. He was talking to himself quite loud and gesticulated very aggressively. He swung his arms to one side and another keeping talk to himself.

IT was very sad for me to see him.

He was obviously mad and sick and didn’t understand what he does.

Looking on him I started to think about unfairness of our life and that man who probably has a very kind personality… but he was mad…so pity…so unfair I remember I’ve even drop a tear

Two minutes later my taxi started to move and! I’ve seen a WOMAN right behind a tree with a MAP in her hands…could you imagine?

She just asked him to show the way! That’s why he gesticulated and talked!… You know, probably I have never laughed so long ))))

I used to compete in martial arts and before a fight, I'd feel so pumped up. For some reason, I felt all the more motivated when I drummed my left chest with my fist before the tourney. That got me all the more perked up. I would repeat the gesture

Yes, I agree with you too! It is very important to look directly into his eyes to let him trust you.

Hello, I must agree with the tips you have left. That being said, I must add to the list. First, respect your client. Do not treat them as if they are stupid. Second, look your client in the eye. This shows both confidence and trust.
